Li Guohong Paid a Visit to Wang Wuping, the Head of Hong Kong Branch of China Development Bank in Hong Kong
On May 17, Li Guohong, the general manager of SD-Gold Group and chairman of Shandong Gold Mining Co., Ltd. (SH600547,1787.HK), paid a visit to Wang Wuping, the head of Hong Kong Branch of China Development Bank in Hong Kong.
Li Guohong first extended warm regards to Mr. Wang Wuping on behalf of Chen Yumin, the chairman of SD-Gold and introduced the basic information of SD-Gold on development strategy, international mergers and acquisitions, capital operation, and state-owned enterprise reform, etc. during the “13th Five-Year Plan” period. Mr. Li Guohong stated that since successful cooperation with Barrick Gold Corporation from 2017, SD-Gold has become the top 1 gold production enterprise in China and been selected as one of the top 100 enterprise with strong scale benefits and one of the top 100 high-growth enterprises in reform of state-owned enterprises by State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. In recent years, SD-Gold has maintained the good cooperative relationship with Hong Kong Branch of China Development Bank, which has provided the sufficient capital support for SD-Gold in acquisition and later operation of Veladero Gold Mine. Mr. Li Guohong hoped that Hong Kong Branch of China Development Bank would care for and support SD-Gold’s development as always and give greater financial support for SD-Gold in international mergers & acquisitions and daily operation, etc.
Mr. Wang Wuping extended the warm welcome to Mr. Li Guohong and his party. He introduced the basic information and future development direction of Hong Kong Branch of China Development Bank in detail, highly praised SD-Gold for its excellent achievements in recent years and stated that Hong Kong Branch would fully support SD-Gold’s development and strengthen cooperation with SD-Gold to achieve the win-win results.
